The Patterns of Music: Young children Learning Mathematics through Beat, Rhythm and Melody - Kamile Geist, Eugene A. Geist, and Kathleen Kuznik

From the National Association of Young Children's site this article examines how music and in particular beat and rhythm can be used to teach mathematics to infants and toddlers and young children.  Introduces some new songs for educators to use with children.  This article will be of interest to teachers of mathematics, infant and toddler teachers and music teachers.
