TVNZ's Sunday programme explored how young children experience risk-taking today. This report covers a wide range of ages, from young children through to teenagers, looking at aspects of childhood today. The video report starts and ends with Fiordland Kindergarten's Nature Kindergarten, where young children explore nature through climbing trees, playing in mud, with sticks and even burying dead animals.
Have we become too risk-adverse in education? What do you think?
