Te Wiki o te Reo Māori: 27 July - 3 August 2015.
Kaupapa: Whāngaihia ngā Mātua, helping parents to pass te reo on to their tamariki.
The campaign will:
Develop helpful guidance on the use of Māori language in the home.
Increase awareness of the benefits of bilingualism.
Increase awareness of how language transmission occurs.
Encourage whānau to engage with kaumātua about how te reo Māori was used in the home when they
I was working with a centre awhile ago and we came up with the idea of placing the Pacific Language Days 2015 into the annual plan so we don't miss them in our busy centre lives. I have been waiting to put this blog up every week going to the website of the Ministry of Pacific Affairs......
and BOOOM the dates have been advertised.

Cook Island Language Week - 3-9 August
