So we don't miss those wonderful resources and information for our tamariki and whānau. The dates of :

    Te Wiki o te Reo Māori: 27 July - 3 August 2015.

Kaupapa: Whāngaihia ngā Mātua, helping parents to pass te reo on to their tamariki.

    The campaign will:

 Develop helpful guidance on the use of Māori language in the home.

 Increase awareness of the benefits of bilingualism.

 Increase awareness of how language transmission occurs.

 Encourage whānau to engage with kaumātua about how te reo Māori was used in the home when they

    were children.
